Interesting that you say this Frank as the Noisy Scrub-bird I saw at
Waychinicup last year was at least 50 centimetres off the ground when it
decided I was worth investigating. I never saw it call, and I would guess
that it called several times from the ground below the heathy shrub that it
climbed into to view me.
Cheers, Peter This is the first time I have seen a Noisy Scrub-bird calling, and the first time that I have seen it off the ground. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
