I have just returned from a trip to Victoria, where I saw a house crow at Sebastopol (Ballarat) on 26 April. One of the field guides I have says that these are destroyed when found, in order to prevent their establishment in Australia. Does this mean that there is some organisation/government department that should be notified in the event of sightings?
