Hello, my name is Stephen Gross and as I've recently joined this list I thought I'd make myself known. I've recently moved fromSydney to Orange and am getting acquainted with the local birds.

Last saturday I did a trip to Forbes and visited Back Yamma State Forest amd Gum swamp.

Birds for Back Yamma included Red Capped Robin, Hooded Robin, Apostlebird, Speckled Warbler, Southern Whiteface. Have any Gilbert's Whistlers been seen at this site recently?

At Gum Swamp there were lots of teal, Black Fronted Dotterel, five Whistling Kites, at least two male Blue Billed Ducks in breeding plumage and four Freckled Duck.
