g'day all,
This morning I went golfing.
As I left home just before dawn (6.50AM) the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos that roost on my front Gum tree were giving their strange night call.

At the golf course during the game I noted --
-- Budgerigar (we do not see many these days)
-- Cockatiel (Quarrion)
-- Galah
-- Red-winged Parrot
-- Australian Ringneck (Cloncurry Parrot or Buln Buln)
-- Varied Lorikeet

On the way home I saw the last of our local parrots.
-- Little Corella

Regards, Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
ps Mount Isa is due north of Adelaide and dawn/dusk is almost an hour  behind Brisbane.
pps No !  I did not get a "birdy"
