Hi The Forktailed Drongo in Southern Africa feeds on the aloe nectar. In the dry winter areas, the aloe flowers are often the only colour in the dry bush and bird identifiaction gets tricky: - everything gets a yellow/orange blush on their faces from the aloe pollen. The vervet monkeys also go around sporting blusher on their cheeks. Happy birding Shirley Krajewski Loxton South Australia |
