I just got a phonecall from Gluepot with the news that this morning no less
than 7 Scarlet-chested Parrots were seen at the Homestead dams. They have
been seen regularly over the past few days, usually between 7 and 9 am. I
thought some of you might like to know this. The weather has been dry,
sunny, around 30C for a few days now and appears to stay the same until at
least Wednesday this week.
The track to Gluepot is 2wd accessible and visitors need to collect a key
from the Shell service station in Waikerie which opens at 6am. Further info
on http://www.riverland.net.au/~gluepot/
Cheers
