G'day All,
I saw this on the BOCA website at:
www.birdobservers.org.au
So far this month I helped several overseas birdo's
with enquiries about local to my area birds! would it
be rude to ask them to join BOCA as a way of payment?
for what I know many on this list supply? and is it
possible to pay for another persons membership? or
perhaps to give a membership away as a competition
prize?

FAQ
Answers to frequently asked questions about Membership
The Bird Observer is our bi-monthly magazine, sent
automatically to all financial members. Subscription
records are updated weekly. The magazine is mailed out
on the first Wednesday in February, April, June,
August, October and December. If you have missed an
issue please contact us immediately to notify us of a
change of address or to request a replacement.
Membership is due every twelve months, on the
anniversary of the month you first joined. If you are
late with your subscription, you will receive one
extra grace copy.
Guests and non-members are welcome to attend a couple
of outings, but as a matter of courtesy and fairness
we ask you to join our club after a maximum of three
free outings. All events are organised by volunteers
who donate their time willingly in support of BOCA.
Please don't take advantage of their generosity.
Overseas visitors are invited to take out a special
three-month subscription so that they can receive
assistance in planning their trip, and take full
advantage of our facilities during their time in
Australia.
