G'day
At Shell Pt on the southern shores of Botany Bay at 4.30pm om Apr 14, there were 18 Cattle Egret stoically hunched in strong winds on the mudflats. For the interest of the perpetrators, one bird in particular had a large flourescent green flag pinned on each wing, advertising in bold black No.837. So large were the flags and numbering that no binos were needed to read them.
