Darter in inner Melbourne

Fellow birders,

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to see a Darter drying itself on one of the supports of the footbridge across the Yarra at Southgate. I've seen cormorants around here before but never a darter. Are there darters resident in the Botanic Gardens or somewhere else nearby?

Cheers,
Koren
