Last Monday evening (8/4/2002) I was at Penrice Saltfields (north of Adelaide, SA) and got a few photos of the Hudsonian Godwit, including one with its wings up and showing the dark underwings. I wasn't very close but you can see the underwing feature reasonably well in the photograph. Does anybody have a rarity webpage that they would like to put the photos - if they think they are of sufficient quality and interest to the wider birding-aus community? Perhaps there are others who've taken some good shots (as against mine which are not that fabulous) of the Hudsonian Godwit but I don't remember any mention of this on birding-aus.
