We had such a successful trip last Sunday (full
report still to come), that I am trying to organise another for this Sunday
14th April. We saw 30 species beyond the river mouth including a GREAT
SHEARWATER, a South Polar Skua, 7 species of albatross including 2 Sooties
and a white-headed Grey-headed Albatross, and, as at this stage the
weather is looking suitable, I thought we should have another go. The chance of
getting the Great Shearwater again must be millions to one but at this time of
year, South Polars are "regular".
Anyone interested in coming,
please phone me.
