G'day Ruth,
Did you by any chance ask him his name? is it? or was
it? the very rare? and endangered "Monty" just hanging
about up there?
Kind Regards,

This morning while birding along Bulimba Creek
(Brisbane) we saw a python - about 2m long drapped in
a tree about 3 m above the ground. The birding was
very quiet today...missed seeing some of the regulars
of the area but we did see a Restless Flycatcher which
was a first for us in this area. We saw the Leaden
Flycatcher and the usual Redbrowed and Double Barred
finches,Variegated Wrens, Grey Fantails, and many
Striated Pardalotes. The Lewin's and Brown Honeyeaters
were out in force. Perhaps we are between seasons
here!
