John,

Last December I saw a young Black-breasted Buzzard at Currumbin Sanctuary on
the Queensland Gold Coast. It was in their raptor show and was demonstrating
it's instinctive egg-breaking behaviour. An amazing display.

Regards,

Tania.

Is anyone aware of any Black-breasted Buzzards in captivity in Australia?
Do either the Melbourne Zoo or Taronga Zoo in Sydney have one?
Thanks,
John
