14 Gang Gang Cockatoos
were seen in a large Eucalypt only 40m from Burwood Highway at the Gardiners
Creek Reserve, Burwood, thanks Greg Oakley.

At the Werribee Treatment
Plant 30 or more Freckled Duck were seen in the south-west corner of Lake
Borrie, 3 Cape Barren Geese were seen at Paradise Road Lagoons, and an
Intermediate Egret was seen on Paradise Road, about 200 metres east of
the pumphouse, thanks Paul Peake.

A flock of around 30 Swift
Parrots were seen at Gunbower Island in northern Victoria, thanks Chris
Coleborn.

3 Arctic Jaegers were
seen of Altona Beach, harassing Silver Gulls and Crested Terns,
one of the jaegers was an intermediate morph which at one point landed in the
water a mere 50m from shore, thanks Paul Rose.

At the northern end of
Laverton Creek off Queen St. there was one Little Egret, one Great
Egret, the resident Pipit, 5 Marsh Sandpiper and 43 Banded
Stilt, thanks Paul Rose.

Approximately 70 Cape
Barren Geese were counted feeding in the paddocks ( 4 separate flocks) at
Sandy Point , South Gippsland, thanks Peter Anton.

Ducks were seen at Pakenham sewerage works, Koo Wee Rup Rd, Pakenham South,

A Powerful Owl was seen
at the Monash Uni bus loop, off Wellington Rd, Clayton, thanks Alistair

was seen on Lake Victoria at Point Lonsdale, thanks Tim Dolby.

Duck late this afternoon at Lake Lorne, Drysdale (Melways Ref 238 C11) on
