Hi all, At the risk of moving up the list of contributors... Ralph mentioned a field trip where one can try out different optics. The Birding Shop, who oprerate out of the BA (RAOU) HQ do indeed have such field trips occassionally, at one such occassion I had a look at the Swaraovski and the Leica, and I leica'd the Leica better, if I was pushed ot a decision about two essentially the same veiws. Given that I have been considering an upgrade of my scope I have been shocked that $3000 instruments would have any problems at all!
