Last month I was ticking Scaly-breasted Lorikeet in Brisbane, last weekendit was Hudsonian Godwit here in Adelaide. To use a sporting analogy, birding's a funny game.Anyway thanks to Ian May for showing me the bird, we had great views, and didn't have to wait too long for it to flash its wings for us.
