For the Swift survey recorder. 0645h 16th March a flock of 50+ White-throated Needletails moving slowly, feeding ? to the SE. Clear skies, no wind. 0630h 17th March 20+ Fork-tailed Swifts moving NE and feeding? same conditions as yesterday. Two points of interest we do not see swifts here in this part of SEQ {Darling Downs] very often. [Usually only preceding summer storms]. The other thing was the fact that as far as we could see, one day they were all Needletails and the next they were all Fork-tails.
