Dear all
As a relatively new subscriber to Birding-aus, I continue my involvement
because I am learning about birds from outside my area and enjoy the stories
of bird behaviour etc that often appear. I also like to read of other's
delight in what they see. I am not a twitcher but I am happy to skim
through the discussions about how to find what where.
I do not enjoy the abusive messages which sometimes appear. I am afraid
that I found the latest example highly offensive and quite unnecessary. I
am not a hunter, but I do have enough imagination to understand why some
people like to hunt. I don't think personal abuse contributes anything to
the discussion. That is the sort of thing that could make me unsubscribe.
I hope I won't have to.
Judy
