I was surprised to find three Wandering Whistling-ducks today at Bagotville Barrage near Wardell in northern NSW (WGS84 28s98037 153e40436). I seem to remember someone telling me there were lots of recent records from northern NSW. Is this true? When did it happen? 10 years ago they were really quite rare in southern Queensland.
