BAYBOCA is running a trip to Mud Island on Sunday 24 February and has some
places free. Cost is $25 per head, maximum 35 people. Details below.
Enquiries and bookings : Tania on (03) 9583 2175 (AH) or (03) 9282 5080 (BH) or
this email address.

Meet at the Portsea Pier (Melway map 156 E2) at 0900. We are being picked up
at 9.30am and will be dropped off again about 4.30pm. Weather permitting, we
will have a quick look at Pope's Eye and Wedge Light. People will need to be
prepared to wade into Mud Island from the boat, but it should not be more than
knee-deep. Bring lunch, sunscreen and shoes for wading as Mud Island is
actually three sand islands and we will be wading between them. We will have a
person from the Queenscliff Marine Discovery Centre to explain the ecology of
the island. This outing will be cancelled if there is a Blue or Red Alert.
