There would be an interesting study here (probably already done). If both those forms of the Australian Magpie were introduced (and the difference is trivial anyway) is there any geographic or other differentiation between them in NZ? I would be surprised if there is.

They have both Gymnorhina tibicen & G. hypoleuca

Introduced in late 19th century first the white backed then later the black backed
they thrived in the pine windbreaks planted around the sheep farms
