G'day All,
I've had a report of 24000 waterbirds on Lake Merreti, counted last
Friday, in the count was 600 Freckled Ducks and 2000 Red-necked Avocets, I
 will be going out today to have a look.
Lake Merreti is on Calperum Station and the management have been conducting
a wetting and drying scheme for several years which is really paying off.
