Hi I want to buy a spotlight for use on overseas trips when looking for owls and other night birds. However, I'm worried about buying one that's too powerful as I don't want to cause any harm to the birds being spotlighted. Do you have any views on an ideal candlepower of spotlight for this use? My local hardware shop has a very reasonable unit which is 2 million candlepower - is this too strong? Thanks.
