Gooday all
Bob Forsyth reported a sighting of a Pied Heron out at the Isa. On returning
from my holidays last Saturday I received an email from Peter and Pam
Gallagher about a lone Pied Heron located at Mullers Lagoon, Bowen, Qld.
That afternoon my daughter and I located the Pied Heron standing on one of
the islands allowing us great views of this beautiful bird.
2001 has been a great year for us with two species to add to the growing
Mullers Lagoon birdlist, the latter and Cotton Pygmy Goose a couple of
months ago.
Trust everyone has a safe and joyous festive season and great birding
rewards for 2002.
