What funny ideas some people have (sorry Ian). Everyone knows that the "outback" starts west of Penrith, north of Newcastle and south of Wollongong (NSW), north, west of Sunbury and east of Dandenong (Vic), West of Ipswich and north of Petrie (Qld), anywhere outside of the area bound by Wanneroo - Midland-Kwinana (WA), all of NT, and anywhere outside of Rundle Street (Adelaide, SA). Oh , I forgot Tasmania doesn't count as part of Australia - it's "overseas".
