Woodswallow attacking dog

g'day all,
Last week, Alan & Kate Harmer (the visiting Birdo's from
Switzerland) noticed a pair of Black-faced Woodswallows "attacking"
a dog.

This was repeated a day later when we stopped at the same location,
which was in an industrial suburb.
My dog was let out of the 4wd and immediately a single B-f W resting
on a power line swooped down to just over my dog. The bird ignored
us. This was repeated half a dozen times until we left.
'Blue' was quite unaware of all this activity.

We all know of attacking Magpies and some Corvids.
But is this a first for Woodswallows ?
