Hi everyone

Could you all do a quick check of your email program? There have been some
very weird messages coming through this morning - long lists of addresses in
the TO: or CC: fields, and often just more addresses in the body. Messages
that have too much in the headers invariably bounce.

There have also been quite a few messages sent in marked-up or formatted
text. These have all bounced. Please remember that we now only allow PLAIN
TEXT messages on birding-aus.

There have been some warnings about viruses, possibly recirculating hoaxes.
It looks as though a number of these messages have been sent automatically
rather than at the choice of the sender, so you might like to check what's
happening on your computer or network.

Thanks

Russell
