Hi Birding-aussers, just got off the phone to Steve McCourt re; his new boat. He's very happy with it but due to family committments can't take us out on the trial run until early January. No problem though, providing I am happy with it the 3rd Saturday (20th Jan) will be the first pelagic, from Southport (Qld) south of Brisbane, on the Gold Coast.

So if anyone would like to book for that date please feel free to do so as there is only room for 12 pax. Personally any boat that is surveyed to take people out to 50nm and can do 25+ knots is an A+  pass. Obviously you will have to wait until after the trial run for the cost but it will be consistent with the others. The guy has to make a living but apart from that and as with other SOSSA venues this is not a profit making venture on our part. Cheers, good birding & Seasons Greetings to All - Paul.
