Bette Mitchell sent this earlier today but it bounced due to an unfortunate
combination of letters in the text, which I have altered (I hope)

For Melbourne people who are interested there is a Dollarbird at the
Cranbourne annex [RW's edited spelling] of the Royal Botanical Gardens. It was
first seen yesterday morning (Sunday) by Dawn Neylan, Peggy Mitchell and I saw
it yesterday afternoon. From the carpark take the track to Wylies Creek,
there are a series of three lakes which overflow into each other, the bird can
be seen sitting in a dead tree overlooking the water at the first lake.It
occasionally flew and we had superb views of the dollar spots in the wing.
White winged Trillers are also present in the park. Cranbourne Gardens are
situated a few kilometres south of Cranbourne on the South Gippsland Highway
on the west side of the road.
