Great news about encouragement for those people to go and shoot cats although I fear a really concerted effort will be needed to eliminate any species ! But it has been done. Walmsley says it cost an enormous amount to get the last foxes in his sanctuaries. It may be on their web site: http://www.esl.com.au/ The home page asks "Did you know 2002 is the International Year of Ecotourism and Australia's Year of the Outback?".
