G'day Rohan,

Can you or anyone else tell me where "the site" is?

Thanks

Stuart

Hi Dion and others,
I'm told by Mike Carter that Nick Day visited the site this morning and
could not find the bird. He also reported that there are usually many Aust
Shelduck in the area but this morning there were none. May be worth another
look in the next day or two.....
Cheers
Rohan

Has anyone confirmed the Paradise Shelduck seen by Barbara Burns at Phillip
Island. This could be a first mainland record or perhaps an escape. A lone
tame bird sitting on a beach after a week of gales makes for interesting
conjecture. There certainly are captive Paradise Shelducks in Australia but
then New Zealand has recorded several vagrant Australian Shelducks. Sounds
worth checking out.

Dion
