Dear All Had a noisy surprise yesterday Friday 23 Nov at 2 pm - 2 Channel-billed Cuckoos flew into a big fig tree just below the Rose Gardens to the right of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Royal Botanic Gdns, making a tremendous noise and giving the resident Noisy Miners and Pied Currawongs a shock. There may have been a third one as one was seen been chased by a Currawong but could have doubled back to the tree from which it had flown; two sat openly in a fig tree with an "admiring" audience of Noisy Miners, very concerned as they had several fledglings nearby. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
