I have not heard many reports of Swifts this year around Sydney and have not seen them myself this season. Has other Sydney's birdos being Swifts lately? Any Fork-tailed Swifts? Beside Frigatebirds, have anybody been seeing any other good seabirds with the recent wild weather along the east coast - Tropicbirds, White Terns, Grey Ternlets, Boobies, Noddies etc etc that one would expect in these conditions!! David Mitford had great views of atleast one or two Wilson's Storm Petrel yesterday from Mistral Pt, Maroubra. The Storm Petrel was very close to the rocks. Edwin |
