Michael Hunter inquired about Cape Gannets in Australia.

Colleague Peter Menkhorst has told me the folowing about the spoecies in se
Australia.

there was one Cape Gannet paired with an Australasian Gannet at Wedge Light for
many years, but it has not been seen for 2 or 3 years now.[Margaret Cameron
probably has more exact dates, but she is in PNG at present]. However there are
Cape Gannets breeding on Lawrence Rocks off Portland, don't know how many
because nobody has looked closely enough - I saw and photographed several during
a brief visit in 1993.
