Hi all,

Don't get too excited, but whilst recently (last week) watching the Australian series 'The secret life of us' over here in NZ, I heard the unmistakeable song of a Chaffinch in the background during a park scene. Magpie larks could also be heard, which makes me think that this wasn't just a sound edit from a sound library. I plan to contact the makers of the programme, but if anyone has these on video I would be very keen to hear from them. It was the episode where Evan gets dumped by his girlfriend in the park.

Anyway, this would obviously be the first mainland record of Chaffinch, so may be worth following up.

Cheers
Brent
