Hi,
I no longer contribute to this chatline, but will
just add a couple of minor corrections to Bill Moorhead's posting:
* The article on asylum seekers which I wrote after
the trip to Ashmore Reef will be published in the The Age and the Sydney Morning
Herald, not Sun-Herald as stated (oh yes, and lest I forget the Uppacumbuckta
Gazette ;-). I understand it will include Bill Moorhead's photos - many thanks
Bill.
* Masked Booby was my 650th bird, not
Red-footed;
* Chris Collins, aka Geeves (not Chris Corben!) was
the pom in question, and a very fine birder and great company he was too - as
indeed were all on board. Many thanks go to the crew of the Jodi-Anne II in
particular.
Thanks to Bill also for his post - the whole trip
was a gas.
