Thanks Russell
I dial in from China and if you know anything about China Telecom - it isn't
cheap and it isn't reliable. When I dial in I like to get where I'm going
quickly, read what interests me and get out. If I find stories that really
interest me, I can forward them to my work email where I have access to a
printer and print those messages.
There have lately been messages that not only contained all of the immediate
prior message, but also any other replies (sometimes up to four) that might
have had anything to do with it and may have been previously attached.
Also, on the subject of advertising, should the restriction also apply to
the 6 and seven line "business cards" some people post after their names,
containing everything from name and address, occupation, business, phone
numbers etc, etc, is. A number of these lately have been more than quasi
advertorial?
When a person posts a message, their email address is shown. If anyone
wants to get in touch with them regarding a posted subject, they can do it
directly. They can then decide whether the entire content of their
discussions is worthwhile posting to birding-aus.
Regards
Ray Kelly
