Subject: [BIRDING-AUS] Greens Bush, Victoria

Hi all,

Went for a walk around Greens Bush in Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula, apparently the last remnant vegetation in this area.  Lovely walk, nice birds, but the highlight would have to have been watching a Dusky (?) Antechinus trying to raid a Pardalotes nest (not a highlight for the poor little birds though).  Also a completely naked bushwalker, complete with boots and a backpack!  I was too stunned to elicit any reasons for his nakedness, the things one sees when bird-watching!

Bird list follows

Wedge-tailed Eagle
Sulpher Crested Cockatoo

Eastern Rosella
