G'Day All

There were 5 Glossy Ibis at Kaurna Wetlands this morning, feeding over
an area of exposed mud west of the central track. Located on Waterloo
Cnr road at Salisbury North about 25 kilometres north of Adelaide, these
wetlands have recently come alive with visiting nomads including
Red-kneed Dotterel (20+), Black-tailed Native Hen (hundreds) and several
each of White-winged Triller, Rufous Songlark and Brown Quail.

Among the regular waders, there has recently been a single Wood
Sandpiper in the area of the central track but it did not appear for us
today. Our personal list for Kaurna is now 86 species.

Regards

Ian May
