Did anyone hear Earthbeat today on Radio National (AM 621)? It started with a segment about how the government in England takes bird conservation very seriously and listens to birders, who form an important pressure group. It was followed up by excellent interviews with David Baker Gabb and David Geering (well done David and David). I just looked up the RN web site and discovered the program was actually a repeat from Saturday morning. I was hoping it was the first one and a repeat was still to come. Good to hear some bird publicity. Cheers, Merrilyn.
