Edwin,

I can't offer much specific info, but we have a voice record from the start of the track [Glen Davis end]that goes from Glen Davis to Newnes. This was just after dark one night about 2 years ago. The bird was behaving in a way exactly described in Pizzey. "Male has high circling nocturnal display flight, uttering continual rattling call [John Young per,comm.]".
