Are you at a loose end for Twitchathon day?

No one?s invited you to be in their Hot Shot team!

Well don?t despair.

Spend Sunday 28th October with us in the bird rich Capertee Valley
(NSW).

We are having a special Champagne & Sausage Sandwich event
and you are invited.

Spend the day birding our 100 acre grassy woodland
or use it as a base to explore Glen Alice Church environs,
Glen Davis, Port Macquarie Rd and other hotspots.
Or just sit under the trees and enjoy the views and
help raise money for a good cause.

Entry is by a suggested donation, total money donated
going directly to Birds Australia.
Lunch provided by us but feel free to bring your own picnic.

If you also have your own team & sponsors, all the better.

Heck, why not make a whole weekend out of it.
Stay in the Blue Mountains,
at Mudgee, Rylstone/ Kandos or pitch your tent
on the property .

Possible birds to be seen include most of the threatened Woodland
species -
including Regent Honeyeater, Black Chined HE, Grey Crowned/ White Browed
Babler, Hooded Robin, Brown Tree Creeper,
Speckled Warbler, Masked/White Browed/Dusky Woodswollows,
Rufous Songlark, Chestnut Rumped Heath Wren, Black Eared Cuckoo, Diamond
Firetail, Plumheaded/Zebra/Doubled barred Finch, Owlet Nightjar, Little
Eagle, Square Tailed Kite,
Hobby, Barking Owl, Gang Gang, Mistletoe Bird, Little
Lorikeet and Turquoise Parrots.
And a few more more familiar species.

Reply direct to get more info or let us know you're coming.
Those who know where we are, please don?t just turn up
we need to organise the sausage count.
