G'day all
I'm sure many of you have noticed that my website has been unavailable for a
couple of weeks (yeah right!) My ISP decided to move it to another server
without telling me.
The good news is that it is back but at a different address:-
http://members.datafast.net.au/clarkja/sw_birds.htm. Please change all your
bookmarks and links accordingly.
The bad news is that some of the links are broken. I have an idea why this is
and will endeavour to fix things asap. For those who are interested in these
things - filenames beginning with capital letters don't load. This is really
annoying because the internet is designed to be case neutral. I don't know what
OS the new server is running but I bet it is one of Microsoft's latest offerings
- no doubt redefining the standards as that company likes to do.
Anyway, the best internet resource for birding in south west Victoria is back
(actually I don't know of any others). This little exercise has had one
positive - I've been inspired to do some more work on it.
If anyone has any comments on the content or ideas for new information, please
let me know.
Cheers
Steve
