For starters, there are the c.5000 folk regisrtered for the Atlas project -
a figure which is certainly smaller than the total of Atlas participants.
Then there are the participants in the Birds in Backyards survey and other
projects, the Threatened Bird Network volunteers, office volunteers in
Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, regional group and special interest group
officers and organisers etc.  I would guess that we have at least 10,000
people who have been involved with us as volunteers in some way in the last
year or two.
