Some time back there was a (sometimes heated) discussion on the use or otherwise of Four Wheel Drive vehicles when visiting out of the way birding areas. I certainly don't want to restart any such discussion but really want to know if others feel as inadequate as I do when watching "Bush Mechanics" on the ABC. Next time I go birding in the middle of nowhere, I DO NOT wish to travel with those guys.
