I have just spent an eventful weekend birding in the Albury region. I was lucky enough to have the time on Sunday to visit the Wonga Wetlands (56 species) outside Albury and Chiltern Box-Ironbark National Park across the border. On the Saturday I climbed 'The Rock' south of Wagga and spent some time in the Tarcutta area in roadside Box-Ironbark. The highlight was a pair of Turquoise Parrots in Chiltern NP before Cyanide Dam. If anyone is interested in the bird list for any of these areas let me know.
