A friend reports the return of C.B Cuckoos, roosting in a gum tree at the end of her garden in Mundingburra, a Townsville suburb flanking the Ross River, about 6pm on 3 September.
 
I observed a Grey Fantail (in transit) in my garden on 2 September.
