Top O' the Afternoon to Y'all. Bit damp down here on Phillip Island. Saturday 1st September 2001. Just got back from a trip to Melbourne Water Treatment Plant,(Western), Werribee. One Male NORTHERN SHOVELLER seen on Lake Borrie at 11 am, good views!! Also 11 Freckled Duck, Red-necked Avocets, Banded and Black-winged Stilts. Both Andrew Silcock and myself watched the N.Shoveller for some time. Cheers Robbie Brown.
