Fellow birders,

I am going to be in Townsville for a conference in about 3 weeks. Unfortunately I won't have a lot of time for birding, but I am going diving for 2 days on a liveaboard boat. I would love some hints as to what birds I may see off-shore at this time of year. Also, any suggestions for good birding spots that are close to either the centre of town or James Cook University.
