Hi All, Perhaps someone knows about this............ My husband is holidaying in his home town, Canberra (actually he grew up over the border in Struggletown - Queanbeyan) and speaks on an invasion of Common Mynas. He was at a dinner party last night, and someone, whom he usually regards as no dill, said that the mynas became established in Canberra, after a breeding pair was released. I was last in Canberra only about four or five years ago, and can recall no mynas at that time. Does anyone know how it happened? Cheers Jill Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
